FAQ

License & Activation

You can download your products and the License Manager in your account section -> My Downloads.

There are two ways for activating your license(s):

  • The Licence Manager from where you can activate all you licenses.
  • Directly from the plugin(s), allowing you to only activate the license for the current plugin (useful when you have only one or a few licenses).

The process of activating a license is the same should you use the License Manager or the "in-plugin" direct activation.

Steps for activating a license:

ONLINE ACTIVATION

  • Start the License Manager or click the account button in the plugin.
  • Click ONLINE MACHINE.
  • Connect to your account using your credentials.
  • Select product/license
  • On an empty slot, click THIS COMPUTER and wait for the activation to be confirmed.
  • You can now close the License Manager and/or restart your plugin.

OFFLINE ACTIVATION

  • Start the License Manager or click the account button in the plugin.
  • Click OFFLINE MACHINE.
  • Click EXPORT THIS COMPUTER'S ID and select a portable drive.
  • - On an ONLINE computer, open the License Manager and log in.
    - Select a product/license, and on an empty computer slot click  OFFLINE COMPUTER.
    - Choose the ID file you just exported.
    - Save the license file it generates.
  • Bring that license file back to the online computer.
  • Click IMPORT LICENSE FILE.
  •

Typically, a single license allows activation on up to 3 (three) computers simultaneously. However, certain products, such as Align-IT, can only be activated on 1 (one) computer at a time.

If additional activations are required, kindly consider acquiring a new license.

In the License Manager app, you can easily see and manage your licenses and computer activations.

The process of transferring a license to another individual is free of charge.

However, a license cannot be transferred within the first 6 months from the date of purchase (to the date the Transfer form has been submitted).

Once a transfer request has been submitted and completed, it is irreversible. The previous owner will permanently lose access to the license until a new one is purchased.

To initiate a license transfer, please use the contact form. We will review the transfer request and respond to you before proceeding.

Download & Installation

To download the product you've purchased or demo products, go to your account -> My Downloads.

Following the download of the products from My Downloads, locate the files in your download folder.

Installation procedure:

  • Navigate to your download folder.
  • If necessary, unzip the product installer.
  • Double-click on the installer to initiate the installation process and follow the steps.

Upon completing the installation procedure (and, when necessary, the license activation through the License Manager), the plugin should be accessible in your DAW after a restart. If you are unable to find the product in your plugin list, please consult the Troubleshooting section of this FAQ.

Standalone products should be immediately accessible from your usual Application or Program folder.

Demos & Freebies

Because our plugins/apps need to validate the demo license expiry, they require the computer to be connected to the internet at startup.

Once the product is authorised as a demo, an internet connection is no longer necessary until you close and restart the plugin/app again.

If you don't plan to connect the machine you intend to use for trying a demo license, we recommend considering the purchase of a standard license.

First, be aware that products activated under a demo license necessitate an internet connexion.

When available, our product demos are offered at a cost of 0 (zero) euros. This process of buying a demo license involves creating an account, to which the demo license is then appended. Subsequently, utilise our License Manager application to connect to your account and activate the demo license, following the same procedure as for non-demo licenses. The Control Center app facilitates the download of our products.

It is important to note that not all products offer a demo license.

Limitations:

Typically, a demo license is restricted solely in terms of time (e.g., 15 days, although this duration may vary).

Certain products may impose functional limitations as part of the demo, along with the presence of sound artifacts or unpredictable MIDI responses, although this is rarely the case.
Should you wish to access these functionalities, we recommend considering the purchase of a full license.

The sole method to remove a demo limitation or expiration notice is to acquire a full license. Upon obtaining a full license, you can typically activate it using the License Manager application. This action replaces the previous demo license with the newly acquired full license.

Our free product can be obtained at no cost. You can find the free products in your account section -> My Downloads. Once downloaded and installed, free products do not require activation or a license to run.

Account & Orders

You can easily change your password by going to your account, then under Account Info.

As our products are distributed using a licensing system, it is essential to have an account for license management. Consequently, an account will be created when you make a purchase of our products in the case you don't own one already.

Following the creation of your account, your products can be activated using the our ControlCenter application.

Payment Methods

We currently provide three payment options for purchasing our products:

  • Standard PayPal transfer
  • PayPal in 4 instalments
  • Credit card

We exclusively accept the specified payment methods and do not accommodate any alternatives.

macOS:
Our products are compatible with macOS versions from 10.15 Catalina to macOS 26.4 Tahoe.

Windows:
Our products are compatible with Windows versions from Windows 7 to Windows 11.

In addition to these plugin formats, certain products may also be accessible, sometimes exclusively, as standalone applications.

* To obtain detailed information regarding a specific product's format and compatibility with operating systems, please consult the bottom section of the product page.

For macOS 10.13 High Sierra and newer, AU plug-ins may not immediately show up in your host software after installation. In such cases, please perform a complete reboot of your Mac. Upon relaunching your host, the new AU plug-in(s) should become visible.

Many host applications cache plug-ins to enhance loading speed and avoid re-scanning each plug-in on startup. It is likely that you will need to clear your host's plug-in cache so your plug-ins will be re-scanned.

Here are examples for specific host applications:

Apple Logic Pro X:
On macOS versions prior to 10.13 High Sierra:

Go to Preferences > AU Manager.
Select the plug-in(s).
Choose Reset & Rescan.

If the above fails, quit Logic and follow these steps:

Navigate to /Users/YOUR USERNAME/Library/Caches/AudioUnitCache/
Delete the file com.apple.audiounits.cache

Restart Logic.

Cockos Reaper:
Go to Preferences -> Plug-Ins -> VST
Select Clear cache/re-scan.If unsuccessful, quit Reaper and delete the following files:

Mac:
in ~/Library/Application Support/REAPER/:
reaper-auplugins-bc.ini
reaper-auplugins64-bc.ini
reaper-vstplugins.ini
reaper-vstplugins64.ini

Windows:
in C:\Users*USERNAME*\AppData\Roaming\REAPER\VST:
reaper-vstplugins.ini

Restart Reaper.

Ableton Live:
Go to Preferences -> File/Folder -> Plugin Sources:
Turn on Use Audio Units and/or Use VST Plug-In System Folder.
If already turned on, perform a rescan by holding down the ALT key and clicking Rescan.

AVID Pro Tools:
Depending on your operating system and Pro Tools version, manually delete the following files:

macOS with Pro Tools 11+:
Macintosh HD/Users/USERNAME/Library/Preferences/Avid/Pro Tools/InstalledAAXPlugIns
Macintosh HD/Users/USERNAME/Library/Preferences/Avid/Pro Tools/Pro Tools Prefs

macOS with Pro Tools 10.3.6+:

Windows with Pro Tools 10.3.6+:
C:\Users*USERNAME*\AppData\Roaming\Avid\Pro Tools 10
C:\Users*USERNAME*\AppData\Local\Temp\AAX
C:\Program Files (x86)\Avid\Pro Tools\DAE\DAE Prefs

Steinberg Cubase:
Try going to Devices -> Plug-In Information.
Select Update Plug-In Information.

If that fails, quit Cubase and delete the following files:

macOS:
in ~/Library/Preferences/Cubase/:
Vst2xBlacklist Cubase.xml
Vst2xPlugins Cubase.xml
VstPlugInfo.xml

Windows:
in C:\Users*USERNAME*\AppData\Roaming\Steinberg\Cubase:
Vst2xBlacklist Cubase.xml
Vst2xPlugins Cubase.xml
VstPlugInfo.xml

Restart Cubase.

If you face challenges while attempting to connect in the License Manager app, or via the in-plugin embedded License manager, consider the following steps:

  • Try to connect to your account through the website.
  • Retry at a later time, as our server may be temporarily inaccessible, such as during maintenance.
  • If you have forgotten your password, please create a new one on the website's login page.
  • Verify your internet connection and try to deactivate your VPN if any.
  • Ensure that there are no firewalls that could potentially block the License Manager application, or the connection from an audio plugin.
